About Dogs Around Town

Dogs Around Town provides walking and pet sitting services for Baltimore area dog owners. We have many satisfied customers and are fully bonded and insured for your safety and ours. We love meeting new dogs, and their owners, and we would love to meet with you if you are interested in having your dog walked and taken care of while you are at work or on vacation. We’ll even bring in your mail and water your plants.

Jared Pfeifer

Jared is currently a student at Towson University and lives in the Hamilton/Parkville community. He has held a number of jobs while a student including groundskeeper, general construction, and retail sales. He has always enjoyed working with animals and feels a special connection with dogs. While working in a pet store he met many pet owners who were searching for qualified, responsible, reliable dog walkers/sitters. Consequently, he and his sister-in-law Stacey decided to establish a business together which provided these services. The business has grown rapidly since its inception and they have many satisfied, long-term clients. They walk all types of dogs in a variety of neighborhoods around Baltimore and are always open to adding new customers.

Stacey Pfeifer

Stacey has been a dog lover her entire life. Her first dog was rescued from a shelter and had several medical problems, including severe allergies and diabetes. Caring for him made her more aware of her passion for taking care of dogs. Her degree in business and her love for dogs have helped her start a successful business with her brother-in-law. Spending time with many different dogs is something she looks forward to every day.
