About Dogs Around Town

Dogs Around Town provides walking and pet sitting services for Baltimore area dog owners. We have many satisfied customers and are fully bonded and insured for your safety and ours. We love meeting new dogs, and their owners, and we would love to meet with you. If you are interested in having your dog walked and taken care of while you are at work or on vacation, send us an email or give us a call. We’ll even bring in your mail and water your plants.

Jared started Dogs Around Town in 2007 while a student at Towson University. He has always enjoyed working with animals and feels a special connection with dogs. While working in a pet store he met many pet owners who were searching for qualified, responsible, reliable dog walkers/sitters. He said to himself, “I should start a dog walking business.” He printed some business cards, got together a website, and was at capacity in three weeks. The business has grown rapidly since its inception and has dozens and dozens satisfied, long-term clients. Dogs Around Town walks all types of dogs in a variety of neighborhoods around Baltimore and is always open to adding new customers.

Jared’s own personality and style can be seen in all aspects of Dogs Around Town. In order to save himself and his customer’s time, he bills once at the end of each month. There is no charge for last-minute cancellations or additions. Just send him a quick text and he’ll make it happen. Walking dogs is fun. He strives to make Dogs Around Town an easy company to work with everyday.

If Jared isn’t walking dogs, you might see him at an O’s game, grabbing a burger at the Hamilton Tavern, or enjoying live music at the Belvedere Square on Friday nights.

Kelsey Howard

Kelsey is a recent graduate from Southeastern University in Florida where she majored in English. She has been with Dogs Around Town for a few weeks and has done a great job. Her clients love her and the dogs look forward to her visits.

Kelsey lives in Hunt Valley and covers much of the Towson, Lutherville, Timonium area. She has become an important part of the team. Hopefully you’ll get a chance to meet her in the coming weeks.

She enjoys hanging out with friends, seeing her favorite dog, Mason, and applying for jobs in other countries. Hopefully we will have her with us for a while!
